Are you an EMT? We here at Care First Medical Transport are always looking for EMT – Basic, Intermediate and Medical responder applicants to fill non emergency transport positions. We are a professional organization and are always looking for professionals, Salary is based on experience and certification level. A Little About What is Required
Pitt County's Requirements for EMT's are composed according to state laws and regulations as well as our local medical direction to ensure the best medical care is available to all it's citizens. By actively monitoring it's EMT professional's continuing education and boarding with the medical directors office, there is a higher level of assurance that we will provide great care.
Continuing Education is required to be turned in to the Medical Directors Office every six months with a minimum of twelve hours and some continuing education topics are specific to the county. We are also called to supplement the county's EMS system in cases such as mass casualty incidents or MCI's, so it is important to ensure we remain in the highest state of readiness at all times.
